Sorry that I have been “off the grid” for so long; but have not been well.
I returned to the emergency room on Friday after Thanksgiving as I not only
didn’t improve, I felt worse.
Am still on anti-biotics and am resting. I do try to go over for Mass. I had a great visit
from my nephew and his family from Georgia and my niece and her husband from Southern Maryland,
who drove them up to see me the night I returned from the hospital.
Last night, I was picked up by one of my cousins and his family and taken to the home of his
sister and her family, where my cousins gathered. I had a great time and except for a little
pain in my back, I did well.
Spent today, hanging out in my suite (and taking medicine, soup, and Jell-O). I will go to the
parish center tomorrow for awhile and say Mass. Am staying close to home.
Please keep my cousin, Russ and his wife, Debbie and their family in your prayers. Debbie’s
mom, Pat died this weekend and will be buried tomorrow.
Will try to update you better as I continue to get better. Thanks for those prayers.
