Blessing of the Bikes Rescheduled
Southern Maryland – 5/14/2011
Due to the impending weather this weekend Rain, Rain and more Rain the event SoMD Blessing of the Bikes event at the Charles County Fairgrounds to suport the American Red Cross in Southern Maryland has been cancelled and rescheduled for Sat 18 June. Same place Same time It was a very hard decision to make as the expectations were over 3,000 people were going to attend but considering the safety of the participants, motorcycle riders, performers, vendors, volunteers, and our volunteer cow (for the Cow Pie Bingo) the weather predictions forced us to error on the side of caution and reschedule. We greatly appreciate everyone’s participation and would hope that everyone and more can reschedule for Sat 18 June when the weather will be Red Cross perfect!
I told you!!!
As you can see I didn’t do a lot today and that’s why I had time to find the article above. I got up late as I knew I didn’t have any early Mass. I had the evening Mass and so I just spent the day at my desk and tried to “catch up” on stuff. After Mass I ended up talking with someone for a long time and I was too tired to get in the car and go to a reception being held in downtown Washington for all the teachers who were awarded “the Golden Apple”. The Kindergarten teacher from St. Michael’s was one of the awardee and I had wanted to join many o her family and friends from St. Michael’s.
The doctor yesterday suggested I start using the oxygen more and so I am trying to figure out how to do that so I am not so tired when I do somthing. We’ll see.
I’ve spent the evening watching TV and so I’m going to bed soon.
You mean some questioned Cow Pie Bingo???? They must be city slickers! I’m in NJ until Tuesday.
