I didn’t get home till after midnight last night and went right to bed. This morning I have the 11:00am Mass and then am meeting with Jim Bishop, whose wife, Kathleen I anointed a few weeks ago. We will meet to plan her funeral, which will be this Wednesday. So I am trying to clean up my office.
Yesterday, I went to Social Security and turned in my papers and then I stopped by Joan Beall’s and my cousin, Phil Ballenger was also visiting. We had a great time and I am hoping that Phil, Eileen, Maggie, Marie and I will meet for lunch sometime in the next two weeks.
I had the 1:30 Mass at the Chevy Chase House and then headed to St. Mary’s country. I stopped and had a cup of cream of crab soup with Lila, her husband Dan, their daughter, Reggie, Robin and John Pajac at Sheibels, which had just re-opened under new management. It was just as I remembered it.
Then I went to Ed and Fran’s and met with some of my Team members. I say “some” because Alex and Maricell and Bob and Jane weren’t able to attend. We had a great meeting with a very good discussion about Mother Teresa. I left about 9:30pm and as it rained a lot on the trip, I didn’t get home till late and I was very tired. I will write again later tonight.
For an introvert you sure had an extroverted day yesterday!! No wonder you went right to bed when you got home! 🙂
