FEAST OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY – MORNING

How do I keep missing a day?
Yesterday, Thursday I had the 8:00am. Then a peson stopped by to talk and visit. After that, I went out to Barnes and Noble and used another of my gift cards and picked up the book, “Sarah’s Key”. I had a chance to read about thirty pages and I think I’m going to enjoy it. There is also a movie, in French with subtitles, which I may go to see also.
Then I went to the Academy of the Holy Cross to hear confessions. I always enjoy that and yesterday was no exception.
Then I met Ray Fecteau. We celebrated his birthday by meeting at the Pines of Rome, a great old Italian restaurant in Bethesda. We had great food and lots of laughs. It is hard to believe we will be ordained 40 years next year. It’s been a good friendship.

Because I ate so late, I joined the priests at dinner time for a glass of water. Then I came to the office and tried to start organizing my tapes, VHSs, and CDs. I can’t believe that no one want cassetes of VHSs but they keep telling me they are only good for re-cycling. Oh well.
At 9:00pm, I led the Holy Hour that we hold in the chapel every Thursday before First Friday. It is well attended and I always enjoy it, especially doing a litany. I went to bed by 10:30pm

I, too, wonder why you keep missing a day. Does it make for a shorter week?
